Reading-Reading book is tabbed. Please read page 261 and set up vocabulary cards. Do not define, just set up please with the words on front. Then, read about the author on page 279. Spelling-Lesson 28 is tabbed-please read over each of the spelling words and the sentences out loud (even if it is to yourself). Then, copy each word twice for homework. Shurley English-I am working on placing videos with a link for you to click on, but for now I would like to review some material! So, on page 234 of our Readers and Writers Notebook (please tear out slowly) place your first and last name on your sheet and date March 19, 2020. We are going to discuss action and linking verbs today! Please just complete section 1 through 10 and follow my video (down below-after Friday).
Science-please read over pages 99 through 101. Watch the YouTube video on different circuits! Remember when we built ours with alligator clips and our power source was a battery (Video after Friday)?

Reading-Review page 261 and define the first four words which are: forbidding, continent, anticipation, and depart. I gave everyone their books back, so use both definitions if they are multiple meaning words. Please make sure you double check your work! Please place cards in ziploc bag. Also, read over page 262 and 263-think about the genre of the reading selection this week. You never know when I might have a question I will want answered back with a supporting fact sentence starter!
Spelling-Please read each sentence aloud with the spelling word even if it is only you! :) Next, with your lined piece of paper from homework, box the three words that end with -le. This exercise can be found on page 181. In addition, I have made an error and the words do not match your words in your book. Please go with your typed list! I am SO sorry. Then, find some room on homework page and do syllable breaks on the challenge words. One example is: for/tress. My highlighting friends, please don't forget to highlight. Spelling test will be Wednesday and we will talk more about that next week.
Bible-Read over scripture in Bible and copy once on lined paper that was previously set up. Please keep in homework folder.
Shurley English-Please complete the remainder of page 234 with our linking (remember helping verbs as well-state of being-such as being, was, were, etc...). The sheet should be completed in your best handwriting! Thank you!
